I´ve Got a Long Way to go and Getting Further Away

or

Everything Means Nothing to Me.

It works like a choose your own adventure novel, just that you choose the title according to how you wish I felt, then I give you the adventure. I know it has been about a month; for that I´m sort of a little sorry, but travelling blogging isn´t really that good of a party.

So before we left Quito, we lost some soldiers. Namely tools.

Oh, Dude check out that killer anti-semitic tag. For real, could it be any better?

10 full days in Quito and this is the sickest whip we saw..

The bus ride to Papallacta was cool. Mostly because we didn´t want to stab each other in the neck yet..

And things started to look kind of crazy..

It was almost as if they didn´t even like volleyball anymore..

And the houses got really nice..

This dog was keeping it very real in Papallacta. I wish I had blogged his other napping spots..

Downtown Papallacta, aka Party Central.

Trying to get Bram to strike an adventurer pose is like trying to teach your dog to ride a bike.

This is about as good as he does..

Oh yeah, Roosters are stupid..

They have a really nice tank that is probably full of something..

And this is what town looks like from the pasture..

And that is fast moving, really cold water..

But trout and Bram dig it..

If you compare my photo of the water treatment plant to Bram´s photo the water treatment plant, you´ll find that mine is much better.

Check out that crazy rooster..

Or these insane cows that had teets and horns..

Trout Farm?

So if you walk up the old logging/oil/forrestry/hydro road, it is pretty nice..

But there are ferocious beasts like this to be dealt with..

Tourist photos for Moms..

And P-Dog and Drex..

And chicks probably like these..

What these 2 shoes were doing up there, I´ll never know..

To live in this house you have to walk a few miles up hill one way or the other..

Water taxi to Nuevo Rocafuerte. Kind of cool. The photos suck. So do isle seats..

But there is a girl across the way who Bram and decided probably wasn´t 18, but her eyes were made entirely of sex anyhow..

It´s pretty wild that everything moves on the river. Plus it´s weird that they keep their tuna in oil... ewwww...

And that they dredged up the Titanic.. In miniature..

Good struggle puppies..

Has anyone mentioned how much they love volleyball?

Oh this thing? Yeah I keep it on the floor..

The jungle sunsets would probably drive north american chicks wild. This one kind of sucks..

But this one is better I guess..

The squall came in right as we got off the boat..

I thought the monkey was robbing us..

No, just a monkey..

This dog leads a charmed life.

He pretty much chases vultures all day..

So vultures are cool..

Even Bram will tell you, this vulture photo is much more clever than his..

There were a bunch of them..

Nuevo Rocafuerte knows how to party..

We got aisle seats for our jungle tour..

This is the Ecuador/Peru boarder. Fresh water dolphins hang out there..

Oh, and this is Sandro´s sturdy craft..

Andy playing movie maker.

The jungle is pretty much about crazy trees..

Andy was all tuckered out after thinking he was going to die..

And there were about 100 trees growing from that other tree..

Skip ahead to the Miluska where I shot next to no photos. But these dudes painted some stuff on it one morning..

This is the Amazon river. I didn´t notice my shutter was all messed up, but look at how stupid Bram´s travel hat was..

Art?

Cool pad..

Nice deck guns on that one there.

Iquitos..

I was hoping our cargo boat would be rustier like these..

They have floating gas stations and stuff..

After getting off the boat, getting Blitzhammered was necessary.

Andy..

Art?

Somewhere around this time I got super sick... Thought it was Malaria or the Plague.. Turns out it isn´t..

We hadn´t seen any backpacker trash for a few days. It made me want to die..

All of these white tops got rushed by the gypo kids..

Not quite dead..

I´m going to stop here because I have to catch a bus to Cuzco. If you want a postcard, you actually have to send me your adress.

Hope you´re all well.

I´m okay..
